The Arizona Inn, built in 1930 by Arizona Congresswoman Isabella Greenway, is still owned and operated by its founding family and continues to fulfill its original mission as a sophisticated desert retreat giving its guests comfort, privacy, quiet and sunshine. Lushly landscaped and brimming with charm, this 1930s resort is located in a historic neighborhood a mile from the University of Arizona campus and medical center, and 3 miles from downtown Tucson. In warm weather, the resort hosts ice-cream socials by the 60-foot outdoor pool.   Cooler months bring complimentary high tea.  The acclaimed restaurant serves international and Southwestern fare. Arizona Inn Guestrooms are individually decorated, but all offer 1930s-inspired decor, garden views, complimentary high-speed Internet access, and refrigerators. Restaurant Information Arizona Inn Main Dining Room:  On property - y 6am-10pm Award-winning classic and contemporary cuisine with international flavors served in our main dining room with cathedral-ceiling fireplace and courtyard. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily. Chef Odell Baskerville's tasting menu changes weekly. Arizona Inn Pool Dining:  On property - y 7am-varies Breakfast buffet, light lunch and cocktails are offered either poolside on covered terraces or in the indoor pool dining room. Directions Exit the airport continue north on Tucson Blvd bear left onto Benson Highway at Irvington Road-at 2.7 miles. Turn right onto Kino Parkway, which becomes Campbell Avenue at Broadway Blvd-at 3.3 miles. Continue north on Campbell Ave to the light at Elm Street. Right turn onto elm street-at 8.4 miles Arizona Inn is .3 miles on the right. Look for pink buildings.
